Rhea Makiaris is an East Coast bred, West Coast raised musical sensation. With a natural ear for music and knack for picking up instruments, she is a self-taught luminous troubador with a honey voice and a yen for old school R&B. Rhea transports her listeners back to a golden age of music, when all a performer needed to entertain was a guitar and an exceptional voice.

House Concert for a Cause, featuring The Bella Lunas

(PDT, UTC-07) (PDT, UTC-07)

Private Home in Oceanside

We are raising funds to support the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Family Camp, through California Hands & Voices, a non-profit organization providing families with the resources, networks, and information to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children.

Every year families gather at DHH Family Camp and this year will be the 21st anniversary. Together, our goal is to raise $5,555.00 to cover the cost of running the camp and provide materials like t-shirts, badges, and snacks we'll provide for the campers and volunteers. We would love if you can donate to cover the cost of our fantastic volunteers who help put the camp together!

Your support will directly impact and improve the lives of these children and their families.

You will be delighted by a performance by the Bella Lunas with their velvety, sweet harmonies combined with the magical expression of American Sign Language, featuring Lily Molina, a deaf artist.

$20 - Meet & Greet @ 6pm / Concert @ 7pm - BYOB and Personal Picnic Basket. Hosted by John & Vivian Thwaits, Art Soul & Horses is a magical place to be in the moment and allows you to enjoy live music like never before. We open the top-half of the stable doors and our majestic animal friends Luca & Sky Mama, enjoy watching and listening to the show, as well. Beautiful art pieces and classic barn artifacts decorate the rafters as sweet harmonies fill the Escondido, CA country air. Get your tickets NOW! You don't wanna miss this show!

Rhea and the Octopus 20 Year Reunion Show

House Concert, Cardiff by the Sea

Twenty years ago, I walked into an open mic at Miracles Cafe in Cardiff by the Sea and met my best buds and bandmates Mike and Eric. A few years later, we had the good fortune of meeting Mr. Simeon Flick who completed the eight arms of “Rhea and the Octopus” 🐙! What makes us so unique (among other things) is that we are a band of four lead singers and the harmonies are off the hook! We've not only been playing music and developing ourselves as musicians, we've also grown remarkable friendships: we are like family. So, we have a TON of fun when we play. I’d like to invite you to our very special 20 year reunion house concert. What you can expect when we play together is harmony, magic, connection and fun! (and probably goosebumps) House Concert in Cardiff by the Sea (with a killer deck and ocean view) Saturday, December 11 Doors open 3 PM, Music starts 4 PM Suggested Donation $20

RSVP to heyrhea@gmail.com and I will get you all the details!
